Our exhibition showcase wood works produced by participants in Workshops for Youth and the "Wish‧Wood" Scheme, enabling the general public to understand the value of giving recycled wood a second life.
Mr. Steve Yeung (co-founder of InnoSphere Ltd), Mr. Norman Mak (environmental KOL), Mr. Dave Ho (co-founder of Chipgoodguy Studio), sharing creative ways of applying their own design thinking in wood upcycling to achieve the concept of protecting the environment.
Here is the full version of our "Upcycling Designer Seminar".
Advanced Wood Workshop for Youth provides a platform for students to use electric tools such as chainsaws and trimmers to complete more complex wood products under the guidance of their instructors. Participants further understand the structural proportions of their woodwork, and created tailor-made wooden furniture for NGOs, which added a layer of warmth to the entire project.
Introductory Wood Workshop for Youth is specially designed for young people aged 18-39 who are curious about woodworking but with no experience. After completing the carpentry class, participants mastered the crafting and upcycling methods of discarded wood, improved their creativity and were more willing to use design thinking and upcycling methods to reduce wood waste. In addition, all finished products will be donated to social welfare organizations.
