It was the first time for the students to experience scribing and sawing wood. Everyone was fully committed to it and got started very quickly, I really look forward to the Luban lock, tissue box and treasure chest they will make in the future!
Mr. Lee, carpenter from Faculty of Craft, will teach students to make fully tenoned wooden benches, storage boxes and treasure chests, and all completed wooden products will be donated to those in need.
The theme of this workshop is "Mobile Phone Holder", encouraging students to show their creativity and use recycled wood to design and make a unique phone holder. The students are very involved, there are many designs that are both creative and practical, and there are some filial students who dedicate his creation as a gift to parents. Teacher specially selected several masterpieces from the works of his classmates, which will be exhibited in the annual exhibition of this project.
The students used their unlimited creativity and imagination to turn recycled wooden sticks into different items, including iPad holder, mobile phone holder, model stool, toy sword, game character model etc., they are both beautiful and practical, but also playful. Tailor-made coffee table and display stands by our Wood Workshop graduates were presented to Caritas Computer Workshop earlier this month.
