The third tour of "Tree Tour Hong Kong" Fu Tei Au Village Green Guided Tour completed before the end of spring!
Class G begins! The students can't wait to learn how to make the paper airplane launchers and tissue boxes. But before that, the tutor Tony from Chipgoodguy Studio will first teach the students about wood, wood grain and tools, etc., to lay a solid theoretical foundation! And then after repeated practice, students can boldly do it!
Led the participants to go deep into Fu Tei Au Village to learn about local tree species and ecology!
Class D begins! As the saying goes, "For a craftsman, if he wants to do his job well, he must first sharpen the tools he uses." Dave Ho, one of the founders of Chipgoodguy Studio, let students familiarize themselves with sawing, so as to understand the texture of wood, as well as the effective and safe way to cut wood. After practising, the confidence of the students has greatly increased! Hope to use their own hands to make exquisite Luban locks, bedside tables and multiple usage treasure boxes for those in need!
