Introductory Wood Workshop Class G students made a simple and practical wooden tissue box for the community families served by the Methodist Centre, and was presented by our colleagues back in July.
Paper airplanes are fun for all ages, it can also enhance parent-child relationship! But hand-folded paper airplanes can't fly far, that's why Wood Workshop Class G students made wooden paper airplane launchers for families served by Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service HKLSS, and was donated by our representatives back in July.
Ying Wa Primary School joined our "Wish . Wood" Scheme back in June, teacher distribute the "Wish·Wood" Wood Kit to Primary 1 and 2 students to DIY their woodworks during Visual Art class. Students are full of creativity, turning recycled wooden strips into various items, such as mobile phone holders, model stools, decorations, etc.
Can you guess what is the work of the students of CCC Kei Chun Primary School? That's right! It's a Pen Holder and a Gazebo. In May, teachers of General Studies and Visual Arts assigned the "Wish·Wood" Wood Kit to Primary 5 students to create their woodwork during after-school activities. In addition to individual creations, students will design together in groups to give full play to team spirit and creativity
It was the first time for the students to experience scribing and sawing wood. Everyone was fully committed to it and got started very quickly, I really look forward to the Luban lock, tissue box and treasure chest they will make in the future!
