Earlier this month, a school workshop was conducted at SKH Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School. Under the guidance of HKDI senior lecturer and Maurice (Product designer of InnoSphere), students creatively transformed recycled wood into beautiful items such as rubber band gun, basketball hoops, photo frames and calculator stand.
Students from Advanced Wood Workshop for Youth handcrafted wooden lamps, benches, pill boxes and cabinets for those in need, and all woodworks have been donated to local NGOs. In addition, tailor-made cabinets and shoe racks were delivered to A Classroom Without Age (an intergenerational learning platform of Woopie Club) as graduation project.
