Students from Advanced Wood Workshop WA2 & Advanced Wood Art Workshop CA2 have created practical and exquisite toilet paper boxes and storage seats for the CFSC Christian Family Service Center’s “想你有支援” emergency care service. Donations were made earlier by our representative and will be given to caregivers in need. We hope they will like!
Introductory Wood Workshop Class W4 has been completed! Thank you Mr. Lee for teaching students various basic woodworking techniques, which includes use of hand tools, material selection, and basic woodworking skills. Students can apply what they learn on the spot, created handmade wooden benches and wooden storage boxes with tenon inserts, fully demonstrate their patience and hard work.
This year’s third Introductory Wood Art class, Class C3, has finished. Thank you Dave Ho, co-founder of Chipgoodguy Studio, serve as a tutor in our wood art class, teaching participants to make Luban locks and wooden tops that are both educational and fun. Later, we plan to donate all Luban locks and tops to grassroots elderly and children served by Woopie Club and Christian Action.
Students of Introductory Woodwork Class W3 created practical mortise-and-tenon stool and recycled wine box wooden storage box for grassroot families served by Hong Kong Christian Service.
The second Introductory Wood Art class of the year, Class C2, has finished. Thank you Dave Ho, co-founder of Chipgoodguy Studio, for teaching a class of woodcraft freshmen to make such interesting Luban locks and wooden tops. Woodworks will be donated to children served by Methodist Center.
