"Tree Tour Hong Kong" #4 was another success! Despite a few drizzle, we had the perfect weather for a walk in the park. Delighted to have environmentalist and foreigners joining our tour, and they are eager to share their views on conservancy with our ecotour guide. We then went for lunch at Lion House Club, and the owner shared the traditional lion dance culture with us. in the afternoon, we visited Chi Kee Sawmill & Timber to understand more about local wood processing industry.
After two online classes via Zoom, students from Class A & B are thrilled to attend physical class at wood workshop! Interested in joining our workshop? We will be hosting two more classes (C & D) in August, certificate will be provided upon completing all 10 classes!
Our 2nd school workshop at KCCS has completed successfully! Instructor from Hong Kong Design Institute, Department of Architecture, Interior and Product Design explains how to creatively transform recycled wood into useful items, such as photo stand, cellphone stand, and lampshade.

We are delighted to see more families joining our tour, an opportunity for children to experience the nature in our neighborhood. Our ecotour guide from IVE Health and Life Sciences(Sha Tin) Tree Management program have prepared a prized Tree Hunt game for the little ones, and they all enjoyed it! Enjoyed lunch at Lion House Club, where the owner shared with us traditional Lion Dance culture. The best way to ease off the heat is to enjoy a bowl of cold tofu at 豆美味豆花園. Our tour finishes off by visiting Chi Kee Sawmill & Timber, where we can learn more about the historic value of local wood processing industry.
