The upcycling wooden bow and arrow workshop on 3/8 has been successfully completed. Norman taught participants how to use the partition boards of recycled red wine wooden boxes, combined with ice cream sticks, clothespins and other recycled materials to create an environmentally friendly and fun bow and arrow. With coloring pens and other decorations, everyone is able to create bows and arrows with very personal characteristics.
The recycled wooden car workshop on 3rd August has been successfully completed. Under the careful guidance of Norman, children can, with the help of their parents, use recycled wood strips and recycled drink packaging to create a unique wooden car. Both parents and children are very happy, while having fun, they also learned environmental protection knowledge.
The students of Introductory Wood Workshop Class W2 have completed the wooden stools they made for the temporary sick children at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Kwun Tong home, donation was made at the beginning of July.
Introductory Wood Workshop Class W3 has finished at the end of July! Thank you Mr. Lee, the instructor of the Faculty of Craft, for being the instructor of our woodworking class. Mr. Lee never expected that so many female classmates would be interested in carpentry, students all expressed that the content of wood workshop is rich and practical, and discovered that learning carpentry is really about training concentration and patience. Meanwhile, everyone agrees that carpentry is really fun.
Students from the Wood Workshop Class W2 made wooden stools for the grassroots people served by Jockey Club Cheung Wah Youth S.P.O.T. were donated by our representatives in early July.
